Common Sources Of Air Pollution
Leena and Raj stood on the balcony, gazing at the sky covered by a thick blanket of smog. A passionate environmentalist, Leena sighed, "Raj, do you realise that air pollution is becoming a real threat to our health? The more emissions, the worse the impact on people."
Raj nodded thoughtfully. His concern mirrored in his eyes. "I read a report about this. Uttar Pradesh tops the list of PM2.5 emitters from industries, followed by Bihar and others. It's alarming."
Leena pointed to the distant smoke-emitting factories, "See those? They're one of the culprits. But also places with heavy traffic, power plants, forest fires, volcanoes, and more contribute. We're surrounded."
As they continued observing, their worries deepened. "What can we do, Leena? It feels overwhelming," Raj admitted.
Leena turned determinedly. "We can start small. Raise awareness, promote cleaner practices, and push for monitoring of these pollution sources. Like the wood-burning stoves in rural areas."
Raj smiled, inspired. "You're right. Even the smallest effort counts."
Leena and Raj's efforts went beyond their city, influencing nearby areas. This way we can also bring change around us.
