Our Belief

We believe that awareness and education are vital in addressing the growing consumption of ultra-processed foods (UPFs) among youth. With increasing health risks such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases linked to UPFs, it is essential to empower students with the knowledge to make healthier choices. By promoting the understanding of food labels and balanced nutrition, we aim to create a well-informed generation that prioritizes health and well-being.

Our Playground

Our initiative focuses on schools and colleges across Delhi. Targeting students aged 13-21, we will collaborate with educational institutions to create a safe and engaging learning environment. By conducting seminars, interactive sessions, and practical activities, we make the topic of nutrition and food choices accessible and relatable to young minds. We will also involve teachers and staff to ensure long-term reinforcement of the message within these communities.

Reach, Methods, and Approach

Our method combines direct engagement and digital outreach:

  • Interactive Seminars: We will organise age-appropriate sessions that highlight the dangers of UPFs, promote balanced diets, and teach label-reading skills through hands-on exercises.
  • Teacher Involvement: Post-seminar sessions with teachers will help them reinforce healthy habits and promote further awareness activities within their schools.
  • Social Media Engagement: We will amplify our message through social media by sharing graphics, videos, and interactive polls, ensuring consistent awareness and community involvement.

Expected outcomes

Through these initiatives, we aim to achieve the following:

  • Significant improvement in students' understanding of ultra-processed foods (UPFs).
  • Encouraging a shift towards healthier dietary choices among students.
  • Using pre- and post-seminar assessments will help us track knowledge and behaviour changes.
  • Cultivating the ability to critically analyze food choices.
